Body, Space and Void

by Ion Pearce

/

about

For Greek philosopher, Epicurius, the purpose of philosophy was to attain a happy tranquil life, free from pain or fear. He proposed that if you strip away consciousness, if you strip away our bodies, and if you strip away nature itself, what you’re left with is the void.
Body, Space and Void by Australian composer, Ion Pearce, attempts to find peace in that void and captures in sound that moment of rest at the end of the day when you finally allow yourself to fall endlessly through space and the remains of the day.
